In my opinion, travel writing has resulted in some of the greatest writing of the past century. Think Paul Theroux, V.S. Naipaul, William Least Heat Moon, Mary Morris, Bill Bryson, Jack Kerouac. Now think YOU!
Sit down and make a list of some of the places you’ve traveled in your lifetime. Where have you been? What did you experience while you were there? Did any of the places or things or people you saw or heard or experienced cause you to think differently about your life and the world around you? If so, tell us about it. I’m looking forward to reading about your experiences. Use our online submissions form to submit your story.
